Physical therapy

The scientific team of PHYSIOLOFT has many years of proven experience in the rehabilitation of Musculoskeletal, Sports injuries, and Neurological diseases. For more than 17 years we have been taking care of our patients to regain their functionality and quality of life. Our specialization and clinical experience in the field of physical therapy enable us to respectfully offer our patients all the supplies for a healthy everyday life.

Pilates

The Pilates method was invented by Joseph Pilates in 1920 for the purpose of rehabilitating injured victims of World War I. It gradually became a very popular exercise method worldwide and is now widely used by physical therapists to rehabilitate injuries. The Clinical Pilates method is an excellent way to increase stability, improve posture, increase muscle tone, rehabilitate, and prevent injuries in a very safe exercise environment under the guidance of a certified instructor.

Research and development

The PHYSIOLOFT Physiotherapy Center uses approved (FDA, CE approved) systems of new technologies in patients’ evaluation and rehabilitation, such as inertial measurement sensors, and actively participates in the research and development of new ones.

From 2021, in collaboration with the University of Ioannina, the National Technical University of Athens, the University of Peloponnese, and the OSTRACON company, we participate as a partner in the Research project “Rehabotics” for the functional rehabilitation of the limb in neurological patients.
